The Richard Rorty Society invites submission of proposals for potential presentation in panel sessions at the 2026 Eastern APA meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, which will take place at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. The panels may include a series of individual papers with a common theme connected to Rorty’s thought, or may be devoted to an author-meets-critics session where the book discussed addresses Rorty’s writings. Scholars interested in presenting current work that engages substantially with Rorty’s thought should submit their proposals to Sergio Gallegos Ordorica at sgallegos@jjay.cuny.edu before July 31st (all that is required for submission is your name, institutional affiliation, a 100-word abstract and a firm commitment to attend in person if selected).
